Coach Christopher Norman will be returning to his hometown of Annapolis to lead the fitness division of Capital SUP. Chris just recently earned his Master’s Degree in Applied Health Physiology with a concentration in Strength & Conditioning at Salisbury University. While at Salisbury, Chris was a Strength and Conditioning Coach and trained M/W tennis, softball, M/W swimming, M/W track and field, and field hockey.

Chris completed his undergraduate degree at Towson University with a B.S. in Exercise Science in 2010.  Upon graduating he worked with the Parisi Speed School in Edgewater, MD until returning to school in 2012. While at Parisi, he worked with athletes aged 7 and up in a variety of different sports including soccer, football, lacrosse, rowing, fencing, sailing, and more.  Two of his athletes were drafted in the 2013 NFL draft.  They were University of Maryland's Devonte Campbell (Atlanta Falcons) and Kevin Dorsey (Green Bay Packers).

When Chris is not training other athletes, he is usually still in the gym training for his new found addiction to Stand Up Paddleboarding. Chris has been paddling for 3 years and competes in races all up and down the east coast. Along with Brian Meyer, Chris now rides for team Infinity SUP out of Dana Point, CA and hoping to make the trip to California for this year’s BOP (Battle of the Paddle).   He also enjoys fishing, surfing, camping, and anything outdoors.
